The famous co-host of NBC’s Today and the managing director of the CBS Evening News, Katie Couric is a woman of substance known for immense talent and daring attitude. Katie hails from Arlington, Virginia. She was born to Elinor Hene, a homemaker and part-time writer and John Martin Jr., a journalist at the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

In her college days Couric served at several designations in the UVA’s famous and award winning daily newspaper named The Cavalier Daily. She was also selected for the post of the Head Resident of The Lawn, the heart of Thomas Jefferson’s academic village.
